Just Chiken In
Good evening everyone - Barb here - sharing a card I made with a rooster image from I Brake for Digis. I wanted to be PUNY - so Just Chiken In - seems pretty PUNY to me. I colored the rooster with 3 or 4 different colored Copics - I tried to give the look of feathers on an exotic chicken. I created the sentiment with the computer using a special font.
Thanks for chikin out my card.

You're So Cool!
Hi Everyone,
I'm here showing off another card made with one of the great digis stamps from I Brake For Digis. Trying to pad my stash of guy cards, I went pretty simple on this one. I printed the Cool Cactus twice, so that I could pop it up and give the card some dimension, since I was keeping the embellishments to a minimum. I colored the image with Copics and added Glossy Effects to the sunglasses. Super cool, eh?
Thanks for stopping by today and visit the I Brake For Digis store for lots of cool stamps!

Anniversary card
Hi, this is Lisa posting today with a card to show you.
My brother asked me to make a wedding anniversary card for his wife. I asked him for some ideas about a theme, and he told me sweets. I thought straight away of the IBFD jars digi.
The sweetie jars are coloured with Promarkers and Stickled for sparkle. Here's a close up.
For more details, please take a look at my blog.

Mother's Day - Thinking of You
Good evening - Barb here - sharing a Mother's Day card. My mom is a flower lover so I knew she would love this flower ribbon - with a touch of pink in it. Pink is her favorite color. I Brake For Digis has a wonderful assortment of floral digi designs for you to use. A little glitter was added to the ribbon and the flowers.
Everyone have a wonderful evening. I hope that the sun starts shining in Wisconsin soon - so our flower can grow and bloom.

Wishing you all the best...
Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a great Easter Sunday. We had a busy day filled with lots of food and family :)
I love having masculine cards in my stash, and this Lighthouse from I Brake for Digis is a great image for that purpose. I colored it with Copic markers and then went back and added highlights to the water with a white gel pen. I thought the red bakers twine fit the nautical theme and buttons and twine seem to be my go to masculine embellishments.
Thanks for visiting and have a great crafty day!

Easter Sundae
Hi, Lisa here to post a project today. I went for a sweet looking Sundae, yum. Very appropriate for Easter Sunday!
As ever, it's Promarkered, with added Stickles for bling! The border punch is Martha Stewart and it's all tied together with some cute pink eyelets.

You Rock
Good Tuesday evening Barb here - cold and rainy and snowy in Wisconsin - Mother Nature has some issues right now - it feels more like October than April.
The card I am sharing tonight for a special person fighting a big battle. I send a card each week and I thought this card would bring a smile to his face. Freddie the Frog - have you seen all the great Freddie the Frog images on I Brake for Digis - there is one with a walker, a motorcycle, happy hour, etc. I think you can find a Freddie that could fit any occasion. Freddie also does holidays. I want to try a Christmas card with one of the Freddie Christmas images.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card.

Cupcake Trio
Hi Everyone,
It's Karin posting today's card, and I used this adorable Cherry Cupcake from I Brake for Digis. I simply copied it three times and added a doily and baker's twine to compliment the bakery theme of the card. I kept it sentiment free, so that I can customize it when the time comes. I love having that option for my personal card stash.
You can see all of the food themed stamps at the I Brake for Digis store by clicking right here.
Hope your day is a three cupcake kinda day!

Hello Sunshine
Barb here today and I am so glad to be here - thought I was having computer issues and was going to have to replace the old machine - but it was my modem - I wish I had known that several weeks ago - I would have been so less frustrated.
Today's card is using the digi image "Sun" from I Brake for Digis. We had a taste of summer last Sunday and a couple nice spring days on Monday and Tuesday but today we had to get out our winter coats again.
I have highlighted the sunshine rays with glitter and popdotted the sun and then also popdotted the face for a little more depth. Don't you love the background paper - when I saw the cloud paper with the little suns on it - I knew it was perfect.
I hope your day is filled with Sunshine.

Bon Voyage
Hi Everyone,
It's Karin here at the blog today, and I Brake for Digis came through for me when I was desperate to make a card for someone who was leaving to vacation in Hawaii. I had no travel themed stamps, and then I remembered this Brush Jet digi from the store. Guess what? It's a FREEBIE!
If you've never tried digi stamps, or just need a travel themed stamp, drop by the I Brake for Digis Store and grab yourself a freebie or two!
Have a great day!

Mmmmmmm cookies!
Hi! It's Lisa posting today with another food centred project!
I've copied this box from one I won in a raffle. It's a very simple design, but quite effective. I've filled it with a little bag of chocolate chips and a chocolate chip cookie recipe, hence the cookie digi on the front! The cookie has a bit out of it, so I just layered up a couple to cover up the bite marks so that it looks like a cookie stack.
Last year I made notebooks for my children's teachers, this year they may all be getting cookie ingredients!!!! Hop on over to my blog for more details.

How about something different
Barb here - I needed to redo my pumpkin bar recipe card - it was so splattered, grease covered, etc that you could hardly read it anymore. I decided to make a 6 x 6 recipe page for the bars. I used the pumpkin digi image from I Brake For Digis to decorate my page. I cut out one pumpkin to place on the other side of the page to balance the design. I had a large brad there but I did not like that and the small pumpkin seemed perfect to me.
So remember you can use your digi images for other things besides cards.
In case you can't read the recipe - here it is -
PUMPKIN BARS
2 C. Flour 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. baking powder 2 C. sugar
1 tsp. soda 1 C. salad oil
¼ tsp. salt 4 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. nuts (opt.)
16 oz. can pumpkin
Mix from pumpkin to flour and add nuts.
Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees in a
12 x 15 x 1 jelly roll pan.
Frosting:
3 ounce pkg. cream cheese
¼ cup margarine or butter
1 tsp vanilla
About 2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp milk
Beat and frost bars when cool.

Spring Time Bunny
Hi Everyone!
It's Karin posting a card made with this sweet bunny digi from the I Brake for Digi store. I love tulips, so this image called to me immediately. I added lace and pearls, because they seemed to fit the dainty look of the card.
Visit I Brake for Digis and see the great stamps available for spring and Easter!
Have a good day!

How many candles on your cake?
Lisa here to post today! I've had this cute candle coloured and waiting for a project for a week or so. I needed a card for a man of a certain age, so I thought the candle would fit the bill!
The potty background is vellum, attached with brads, and the wording is printed out from the PC. I wanted to keep it nice and simple- the recipient isn't one for fussy things! Now I'm wondering what I could do with a forest of smiley candles!!!!!

More Cupcakes
Good morning - it is Barb here sharing some more cupcake cards. If you have ever visited my blog - you will seethat on Monday's I celebrate Oldie Moldie Monday - which means I dig into my supply of paper andshow some love to some old paper. I had used some of this Basic Grey paper a couple weeks ago on a birthday cupcake card and enjoyed the results so wantedto use up some more of those same scraps on these cards. I did want to make a total of three cards but I got distracted by another project.
Once again I am showing the versatility of the digi stamp - how nice it is to be able to resize your image for different looks. The card that did not happen had 9 cupcakes on it in a bingo card line up. The little cupcakes are just bitesize.
I Brake For Digis has a large assortment of different designs in cupcakes - pop in and do some shopping for cupcakes - and then head to your craft room - I would love to see what you could bake up with a cupcake image.

Happy Hour Freddie
Hi Everyone,
It's Karin posting today, and I have to say that the "Freddie" images from I Brake for Digis have to be among my favorites from the shop. This one is named Happy Hour Freddie and he looks like he wishes it was Friday instead of Monday today!
I added a stamped sentiment and pulled out my neglected brads for embellishments. I think they help to keep the card more masculine, since this will eventually make it's way to a guy.
Still, I had to add some Stickles to the jar and popped it up for some dimension.
Thanks for visiting and check out all of the Freddie stamps at I Brake For Digis!

The Brakefast Club Challenge #20 - Birthdays
Hi everyone! Cat here with a new card for the Brakefast Club challenge running this week. I just love the Freddie Frog images and this one is no exception. I'm at the point in my life now that I don't like to celebrate my birthdays. I'm too old and it takes too much effort to blow out all the candles - haha! This little guy looks like I feel these days. :) So, here is my card for the challenge:
Supplies:
Stamps: Senior Freddie (I Brake for Digis), sentiment (Create with TLC)
Papers: American Crafts cardstock, Bazzill cardstock, Wausau Exact Index 110# cardstock, digital patterned paper (Summertime Designs)
Tools & Embellishments: coloured pencils (Crayola), oms, Studio G ink, tearing ruler, ZigZag Stitch edge punch (EK Success)
Isn't he cute? You can get him at the IBFD shop. Don't forget to stop by my blog to get your 10% off discount code before you go shopping. Chocolates on a tag
Hi there! Lisa here with a tag to show you. I quite like making tags, especially for special presents and special people. I think this one might be for my friend whose birthday is very soon, and who has a very big heart and deserves a special tag on her birthday pressie. She's also someone who will appreciate that it is a special tag and that I've made it for her.
I Brake for Digis chocolate box coloured with Copics, a gorgeous Nesties tag base and some of my flowers that I'm now addicted to making and putting on everything. Finished off with a dash of sparkle and some liquid pearls.

Butterfly Frenzy
Good morning - Barb here - once again showing you the versatility of using digi stamps and sizing them to your needs.
I am sharing two cards I made using the butterfly image. I have 3 shots of the same card to show all the dimension in the card.
On the first card I used a small version of the butterfly and just stacked them three in a row. They were colored with Copic markers that perfectly matched the patterned paper (that was a happy accident that it matched so well.) I pop dotted the sentiment. This was a card I made over the week end for the virtual cardmaking party on Operation Write Home’s facebook page.
The second card is very dimensional. I used the same image but larger. I first printed it on paper, colored it and cut the image out with a spellbinder. I then colored two more images which I cut out. I bent the two cut out butterflies in the center so they had some dimension and layered them on top of each other on the card – I did post a close up of the butterfly. I really did not have a spot for the sentiment so added it on top slightly hanging over the top edge. I sent this to one of my daughters with her favorite Easter candy. Hopefully she enjoys both. The card is even a little “green” – the ribbon was recycled off of something I received – a plant or gift – I don’t remember – but it was so pretty I could not throw away and there was lots of it – just had to work around the wrinkles in the ribbon.
Everyone have a wonderful day. One more day of work and then I have a long week end. Maybe I will get some more housecleaning done. Hopefully more cardmaking done.

Congratulations!
Hi Everyone,
It's Karin posting today, and this is the card I made for my niece who is graduating from high school in June. Aren't these little graduation fish (Grad School) from the I Brake for Digis store the cutest thing? All I did was color them in with my Copic markers and cut out the image with my Spellbinders die. I cut out a couple of extra fish, put them on pop dots and added them to the bottom left corner.
To give the illusion of bubbles in the water, I embossed some blue circles and glued them on for the background of my card and the sentiment is stamped.
If you need a fun new image for your card making, stop by the I Brake for Digis store today!

Two girls
Lisa here! I have a lovely little easel card to show you using the Two Friends IBFD digi.
No colouring! Well, just a little, ickle bit of Cool Grey 1 to shade the dresses. The girlies are cut out and decoupaged up twice- once for the dresses and once for the parasol and hat.
I added lots of clear stickles on to the dresses for a bit, well, a lot of added sparkle, and red for the flower.
The poppies are made using a technique I've explained on my blog, and they inspired the red polka dot ribbon. All in all, I'm rather chuffed with my no colouring card!

Tractors
Good evening - Barb here sharing a masculine card with you. I love my card - but isn't that one ugly color for a tractor - I knew I could not carry off the John Deere green color so went a different way - but the card is nice. Sometime you luck out with it comes to coordinating papers - I had one piece of paper I was going to use for this card - it was double sided - and then I bought some sheets of a new Basic Grey collection and it matched perfectly.
The digi image is from I Brake For Digis - I think it made a great masculine card to cheer someone and let them know how special they are.

Rugged Cross
Hi Everyone,
It's Karin posting today, and I just love that this Rugged Cross from I Brake for Digis gave me the opportunity to make a religious Easter card.
It was so easy to color and I just added some flower and lace. The sentiment is a traditional stamp from my supplies.
Stop by the I Brake for Digis store and see what spring time digis fit your crafting needs.
Have a great day!

Brush Horse Digi
Hi everyone! I'm back after what seems like a really long time. Long story short - I had a minor meltdown with my printer and a bunch of other stuff, but its all sorted out and I'm back on track. :)
Here's a little card I made for this week's challenge over at The Brakefast Club (Challenge #18 - Animals). Its a pretty little horse. The image is called Brush Horse and you can find it here in the IBFD shop. I went with a western theme for my card, but I know this image will work with just about any theme and colour scheme. Here's my card:
Supplies:
Stamps: Brush Horse (I Brake for Digis)
Papers: patterned paper (unknown), brown cardstock (Recollections), tan cardstock (Bazzil), white cardstock (Wausau Exact Index 110#)
Tools & Embellishments: Craft Robo, Ribbon (Michaels), Mistral font (sentiment), copics, edge distresser tool (Heidi Swapp)
Pop over to the Brakefast Club and join in on the challenge. You'll have fun! Don't forget to stop by my blog to pick up your 10% off discount code for any shopping you do at the I Brake for Digis or I Brake for Stamps shops.
Have a great week everyone! Talk to you later...

Tea and cake anyone?
Hi Lisa posting today. I've got yet another ATC to show you, I'm still making them in advance of my swap meet in a couple of weeks time. I love including quotations on my work, and this lovely little quote comes from The Wind in the Willows.
I've added it to the Cherry cupcake digi, coloured with Promarkers and accented with Stickles glitter glue and a red glaze gel pen. I always wanted to live in the Wind in the Willows world when I was little, so this quote hits the spot with me!

Chocolate Chip Cookie
Hi Everyone,
It's Karin posting today, and my yummy little card today has an image that comes via I Brake For Digis. I was so happy to receive this little cookie, because I had the perfect sentiment in my supplies to compliment it.
What friend would want to receive a sweet treat like this in the mail? And, the best part...No calories! LOL.
The chocolate chips are a stamp from my personal stash that I cut out and covered with glossy effects and then used like embellishments.
Want this cookie for yourself? Just visit I Brake for Digis !

Bunny Time
Barb here sharing the two cards I posted yesterday for a bloghope for Operation Write Home. Over 100 people in the hop and I have over 100 comments. I was trying to show the versatility of digis by showing how you could size them. As you can see I did one card with the bunny being larger and paper piecing her. The other card is showing how you can make the same image smaller and lining up a few for an entirely different look - I hope you enjoy my peek at the veratility of digis.

Cupcake time
Good morning - Barb here posting - yummy cupcake card today. This card did not turn out like I had it pictured in my head - I was going to do paper piecing but couldn't find any papers that seemed right to me so I colored with my Copics. I like how it turned out. Wasn't the paper I was going to use - but scraps from Basic Grey that had some purple in it. Purple is Jillian's favorite color.
I Brake For Digis has lots of great cupcake images - this is the most simple designed cupcake.
Last night I was in Kohl's and they have a cupcake cookbook in their Kohl's Cares section for $5. It has lots of great recipes and pictures. Food Network has a show - I think it is called - Cupcake Wars. I think it is time for you to jump on the cupcake wagon and make some delicious cards.
Everyone enjoy your day.

Swirly sun ATC
Hi there! Lisa here with another ATC project to share with you.
I'm going to an ATC swap meet in a couple of week, so I'm busy building up my stock of swaps. I love this swirly sun and stars design, and it resizes beautifully for use on an ATC.
I've coloured it with Sakura glaze pens- the first time I'd used them and wow, they're fabulous. I then mounted it up onto black card and a scrap of shiny paper left over from another project. I'm thinking that when I have time, this image would work brilliantly as a bookmark!
Have fun crafting!!!

Flamingo
Hi Everyone,
It's Karin posting today here at the blog, and I used this funny Flamingo digi from the I Brake for Digis shop on my birthday card today. He seemed to look a bit grouchy, so I paired it with a sentiment from my own supplies. I love doing that with my digis, you get so much mileage out of your supplies by using them this way.
Be sure to visit the I Brake for Digis shop for tons of different digital images!

Picking Up the Tree
Good morning - Barb here - Mr. Mo Jo finally paid me a visit this week and I made my second Christmas card of the year. I think I can see more of these in my future.
I used one of the new digi images for this card and paper pieced it. I printed it on three different patterned paper and cut out the car and tree and glued them to the base image. I did color the tires and window on the car with Copics and rubbed some blue chalk across the car to make it bluer. I rubbed brown chalk on the tree to add some depth to the green.
I have a pad of paper from Die Cuts With a View and love the vintage feel of this paper.
I do hope Mr. Mo Jo comes to visit this week end - I have birthday cards needed for Monday and Tuesday. Everyone have a wonderful week end.

An ATC in hot water
Hi! Lisa here, with an ATC to show you. I'm a regular ATC trader, and I love making these little works of art. With this ATC I was intending to make a teacup and teapot ATC for a swap my friend is hosting, however, as ever, artistic things take on a mind of their own.......
The teabag digi is fabulous, perfect for rubber stamping over with a woman's face. There's no rule that says digis and rubber stamps can't mix, right?
The quote is by Eleanor Roosevelt, and the background is just swooshed with ink pads and then stencilled through a flower stencil.
For a few more details on how I made it, hop over to my blog.

Age is Only a Number
Hi All,
It's me Karin, posting a card I made for my cousin's birthday. He used to have an orange motorcycle before he traded it in for a black one, so I made this card with that bike in mind. It's much more fun to color in orange than in black...lol.
and I glued on some googly eyes just because they are so fun :)
Be sure to check out all the stamps at the I Brake for Digis store...I know you will like what you see!
